Gabe Alvarado, eventually went back to work at the refinery, only this time as an assistant fire chief, specializing in industrial fire safety, a job. He is a sought after inspirational speaker bringing messages of safety to new employees in refineries and chemical companies all over the world. Using his experience, emotional and physical pain, plus key learnings, he delivers powerful motivational speeches to improve workplace safety. He also speaks on conquering hardships and setbacks at work and at home. She was living a full and happy life—a devoted wife, a loving mother to two children, and a partner to a husband who worked a job he truly enjoyed as a multi-skill technician. On that fateful day, a sudden explosion engulfed her husband, Gabriel Alvarado, in flames. In an instant, Precious found herself fighting alongside him for his life, facing unimaginable fear, pain, and uncertainty. What followed was a journey that would test her strength, faith, and resilience beyond measure.

When I was just a kid, my dad was seriously injured in a sudden explosion. Overnight, everything changed. I had to grow up fast—helping care for him, supporting my mom, and holding our family together when it felt like the world was falling apart.
